Arthur J. Gallagher Adquirirá los Beneficios del Broker Canadiense Keyser
La corredora de seguros global Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. anunció la adquisición del broker canadiense Keyser Benefits Corp.
Con sede en Calgary, Alberta, Keyser Benefits es una correduría de beneficios de servicio completo que ha estado en funcionamiento durante más de 45 años.
Ofrece seguros de Vida, Discapacidad, Salud y Odontología, Enfermedades Críticas, Jubilación y otros servicios a pequeñas y medianas empresas e individuos en todo el oeste de Canadá.
Tras la toma de posesión, el presidente Share Keyser y sus asociados se mudarán a la oficina de beneficios ya existente de Gallagher en Calgary.
Aquí, estarán bajo la dirección de Melanie Jeannotte, Presidenta Nacional de las operaciones en Canadá de consultoría de beneficios para empleados y operaciones de correduría de Gallagher. Gallagher no reveló los términos de sus transacciones con Keyser Benefits.

El anuncio sigue la decisión de Gallagher el mes pasado de adquirir las operaciones aeroespaciales de JLT luego de su combinación con Marsh y McLennan Companies. A principios de 2019, Gallagher anunció las adquisiciones del agente general administrativo estadounidense Interstate Insurance Underwriters y del broker especializado británico Stackhouse Poland.

Arthur J. Gallagher to Acquire Canadian Broker Keyser Benefits
Global insurance brokerage Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has announced the acquisition of Canadian broker Keyser Benefits Corp.
Based in Calgary, Alberta, Keyser Benefits is a full-service benefits brokerage that has been in operation for more than 45 years.
It offers life, disability, health and dental, critical illness, retirement and other services to small to mid-sized businesses and individuals across Western Canada.
Following the takeover, President Share Keyser and his associates will be relocating to Gallagher’s existing benefits office in Calgary.
Here, they will be under the direction of Melanie Jeannotte, National President of Gallagher’s Canadian employee benefits consulting and brokerage operations. Gallagher did not disclose the terms of its transactions with Keyser Benefits.
“Like Gallagher, Keyser Benefits is a client-focused, family-oriented business with a strong commitment to ethics,” said J. Patrick Gallagher, Jr., Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Arthur J. Gallagher.
“I am excited to welcome Shane and his associates to our growing global team,” he added.
The announcement follows Gallagher’s decision last month to acquire the aerospace operations of JLT following its combination with Marsh and McLennan Companies. Earlier in 2019, Gallagher has announced the acquisitions of U.S MGA Interstate Insurance Underwriters and specialist UK insurance broker Stackhouse Poland.
