AON Hace Cambios Importantes en su Estructura de Liderazgo en América Latina

Aon viene realizando importantes inversiones globales con el fin de lograr mayores capacidades regionales y locales. Alineados de manera consistente con la innovación y los conocimientos provenientes de sus cinco líneas de soluciones, la empresa hoy puede ofrecer un valor comercial de mayor impacto dentro de la región latinoamericana. Es así que se están implementando algunos cambios importantes en la estructura de liderazgo de Aon en América Latina.
 
"Con efectividad inmediata, Pablo Muñoz ha sido nombrado CEO de América Latina para el negocio de Reinsurance Solutions de Aon. De esta manera, Pablo asume el liderazgo en reaseguros que yo desempeñara anteriormente, y a partir de ahora reportará a Andy Marcell, el CEO global de Reinsurance Solutions. Por otro lado, Alejandro Galizia ha sido nombrado CEO de las líneas de soluciones Commercial Risk, Health, Retirement y Data & Analytics de Aon para América Latina, luego del retiro de Fernando Pereira de la empresa el pasado 1ero. de enero de 2020, tras más de 20 años de servicio. Pablo Muñoz se incorporó a Aon en el año 2008, y se ha desempeñado en distintos puestos de liderazgo en la empresa, tales como Jefe de Negocios Facultativos, Director de Corretaje (Chief Broking Officer – CBO), y Líder de Especialidades en Contratos y Reaseguros Facultativos. También desempeñó un rol fundamental en lograr el éxito de nuestros negocios latinoamericanos en Reinsurance Solutions. Recientemente, Pablo se desempeñó como Líder de Crecimiento Estratégico para la región, siendo responsable de delinear las estrategias de crecimiento para Reinsurance Solutions, y determinar los recursos necesarios para realizar nuestros objetivos comerciales. Pablo comenzó su carrera profesional en el año 2000 trabajando en Willis en España dónde ocupó distintos cargos dentro de Willis Retail y Willis Reaseguros, dónde también brindó servicios a distintos segmentos de clientes. Fue transferido a Londres integrándose luego a Benfield, empresa que fuera adquirida por Aon en el año 2008.

Pablo cuenta con una licenciatura en Derecho (otorgado por la UCM – Universidad Complutense de Madrid), una Maestría en Gestión de Seguros (otorgado por ICEA-Madrid), y tiene su sede en nuestras oficinas de Miami, Florida. A su vez, se incorporará como miembro del Comité Ejecutivo Global de Reinsurance Solutions de Aon. “Estoy seguro de que con estos antecedentes y experiencia de liderazgo, Pablo reforzará nuestra convicción fundamental acerca de la importancia que nuestra región tiene para el continuado éxito de nuestra empresa. Ello se ve impulsado por nuestro enfoque permanente sobre el cliente y la mejora continua de la experiencia de servicio que brindamos a nuestros clientes. Nos sentimos muy motivados ante este próximo capítulo en nuestra evolución empresaria”, señaló Alejandro Galizia.

AON Makes Important Changes in its Leadership Structure in Latin America

Aon has been making significant global investments in order to achieve greater regional and local capacities. Consistently aligned with innovation and knowledge from its five lines of solutions, the company can offer today a commercial value of greater impact within the Latin American region. Thus, some important changes are being implemented in the leadership structure of Aon in Latin America.

"Effective immediately, Pablo Muñoz has been appointed CEO of Latin America for the Aon Reinsurance Solutions business. In this way, Pablo assumes the leadership in reinsurance that I previously held, and from now on he will report to Andy Marcell, the global CEO of Reinsurance Solutions. On the other hand, Alejandro Galizia has been appointed CEO of the lines of Commercial Risk, Health, Retirement and Data & Analytics solutions of Aon for Latin America, following Fernando Pereira's retirement from the company last 1st. January 2020, after more than 20 years of service. Pablo Muñoz joined Aon in 2008, and has held various leadership positions in the company, such as Head of Optional Businesses, Brokerage Director (CBO), and Leader of Specialties in Contracts and Optional Reinsurance. He also played a fundamental role in achieving the success of our Latin American businesses in Reinsurance Solutions. Recently, Pablo served as the Strategic Growth Leader for the region, being responsible for delineating the growth strategies for Reinsurance Solutions, and determining the resources needed to realize our business objectives. Pablo began his professional career in 2000 working at Willis in Spain where he held various positions within Willis Retail and Willis Reinsurance, where he also provided services to different customer segments. He was transferred to London and then joined Benfield, a company that was acquired by Aon in 2008.
 
Pablo has a law degree (granted by the UCM - Complutense University of Madrid), a Master's Degree in Insurance Management (granted by ICEA- Madrid), and is based in our offices in Miami, Florida. In turn, he will join as a member of the Global Executive Committee of Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions. “I am sure that with this background and leadership experience, Pablo will reinforce our fundamental conviction about the importance that our region has for the continued success of our company. This is driven by our permanent focus on the customer and the continuous improvement of the service experience we provide to our customers. We feel very motivated by this next chapter in our business evolution,” said Alejandro Galizia.
